Well folks, it’s September 1st, which means it’s officially “apple season!” We’ve had several varieties of apples on our shelves for the last week, because apple trees don’t pay attention to the calendar but now we’re opening our doors 7 days a week, from 9-5 on the weekdays and 9-6 on the weekends, through November. We’ll also have our vendors out on the patio with their creative and tempting wares every weekend, and Andy Lepak out there as well to croon to you while you enjoy a slice of apple crisp a la mode and perhaps a cup of fresh-pressed cider.
As always, we have many products open for sampling, including our apple butters, our apple cider, the amazing apple butter barbecue sauce, and just in this season, apple salsa! It’s been described as “apple sauce meets salsa, in the best way possible,” and we encourage you to come try it for yourself–you’ll probably be bringing a jar home with you. Every variety of apple we have on the shelf is also available for you to taste, because we’re confident you’ll be pleased with what we have to offer.
The forecast for this weekend (September 2-3) is HOT down in town, but up here it’s always ten or fifteen degrees cooler. So if nothing else, come on up to enjoy the weather! We look forward to seeing you.
Happy Apple Season 2017!
