September 25: Weekend Update

Happy Saturday! It’s the last weekend of September, and we’ve got more products in, including a fresh batch of apple butters and a shipment of preserved goods from Gourmet Gardens.

Our apple lineup this weekend consists of: Gravenstein, Gala, Vasquez, Spartan, Crab Apples, and–new this week–we now have the classic Red Delicious and the densely sweet-tart Braeburn varieties on the shelves.

The band L.P. 33 will be back on the patio to provide you with tunes worth dancing to today, and we’re looking at a high of 70 both days this weekend with a chance of stray showers, so the sky should be great for photography enthusiasts.

We hope everyone has a great weekend, and we hope to see you!

Fuji Apples and Tonies Toys

It’s another beautiful autumn day at the ranch, and we now have Fuji apples for sale! These join the existing lineup of Gravenstein, Gala, Spartan, crab apples, and in a bit of surprise good news, we also have Vasquez back on the shelves.

In non-apple product news, we’ve also got a new shipment of Tonies that just came in to Granny’s Attic. These adorable little storytime buddies are not just sweet shelf-sitters, they actually tell stories when placed on their story box. Drop by Granny’s Attic to see for yourself, we have our representative, Simba, to demonstrate how he and his Tonie friends work.

We’re working on getting more delicious culinary goods out for your perusal, including a batch of apple and pumpkin butters, and more apples are being picked every day, so come on up!

Labor Day Weekend 2021: First Apples of the Season

Happy Labor Day weekend! Just in time, we’ve got the first apples of the season in 🍏 Our first crop is composed of: Gravenstein, Gala, our signature Vasquez, Spartan, and Crabapples. We also have farm-fresh peaches (regular peaches, not peach-apples, although that does sound interesting).

This weekend will be three days long for us, as we will be open Monday, September 6 from 9 – 5 for Labor Day. Come on up to enjoy the beautiful weather, the first crop of the season, and fresh-pressed apple cider.

Apple Season 2021 is here, and we hope to see you soon!

Labor Day Weekend 2021

It’s that time of year! Labor Day weekend heralds the start of apple season. Our apples needed a bit more time on the trees this year, but we’re hoping to have the first crop out in the barn soon.

For now, we’ve got lots of tasty treats at our snack bar to help you compose a picnic to take down to our picnic park, which has been serving as a family gathering spot for over fifty years! There’s a lot of beauty and history on the ranch grounds, and lots of places for family photos this holiday weekend.

The ranch will be open Friday through Monday from 9 – 5 this weekend for Labor Day, and we hope you’ll come visit!
