Happy Mother’s Day 2024!

This Sunday is Mother’s Day! And although the mornings have still been May gray, Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be fully sunny by the afternoon, with temperatures in the mid to upper sixties. You can bring Mom up for a springtime picnic in the park, then head to the barn for some wine tasting, pick up an apple burrito, a glass of cider, or a whole apple pie at the snack counter, or piece together a custom box of chocolates from the candy counter 🍫 We also have fresh-cut lilacs for you to bring home and get your home smelling like sweet springtime πŸ’
There’s still time to visit The Oak Glen Art Gallery, Parrish House Antiques, Etc., and Granny’s Attic if you’re looking for a unique gift to surprise your mom with, or you can browse with her on Sunday and let her pick out her own treasure πŸ˜‰
And if you prefer a nice sit-down meal, whether it’s breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner, you can treat your mom to the delightful food and friendly service at Kluddes Cast Iron Restaurant 🍴
We hope all the marvelous moms out there have a delightful Mother’s Day!

Happy May!

Happy May! It’s a beautiful time on the mountain, with the trees in full bloom as this season’s apples begin their growth. We’re still pressing cider from the late-season apples picked earlier this year, so it’s a sweet blend even with no sugar added.

The mornings are still overcast, but by midday we’re set to be mostly sunny with highs in the sixties all weekend. Next week, the valleys are headed for summer-like temperatures with highs in the eighties, so pick up a gallon or half-gallon of cider to keep you refreshed even when you’re off the mountain ☺️

We hope everyone has a great weekend!
