Our thoughts are with the residents affected by the Apple Fire, which started yesterday at 4:55 p.m. at Oak Glen Road and Apple Tree Lane, on the east side of Oak Glen heading into Cherry Valley.
Parrish Ranch, located at the far west end of Oak Glen, is safe from the fire and we will be open for business today. We are thankful that the winds are blowing the smoke east, so we still have fresh mountain air.
The forecast says it’s going to be another scorcher in the valleys, and although it won’t exactly be brisk up here, as we like to mention, it’s always at least ten degrees cooler.
