Last night things got a little worrisome, but thanks to the ceaseless efforts of our amazing firefighters, the Apple Fire is keeping to the northeast of us and we are still safe. We have a debt of gratitude to every firefighter who worked in the intense heat yesterday and through the dark, smokey night to protect the town ❤️

Oak Glen Road is open from Yucaipa, and as we are on the Yucaipa side, we are open today as well. The fire is not visible from our parking lot, but you can enjoy watching the firefighting aircraft as they continue to battle for control of the fire. It’s currently calm, no wind, temps hovering around 80 at this time, so if you’re thinking of a Sunday drive, we volunteer as your destination ☺️
